What type of vessels do we recommend:
• Heat resistant tempered glass can withstand high temperatures without shattering, thin or recycled glass is not recommended
• Oven safe ceramic is suitable
• Wood is not recommended, as it can easily burn or char when exposed to high temperatures
• Cylindrical shapes work best, always read the instructions above to ensure safe wick placement into your chosen vessel
Care:
• Please read the product manual before use
• Fireproof containers are recommended. Please ensure that they are large enough to keep the melt pool away from the edge, to prevent the container from heating up during use
• We recommend vessels with a minimum diameter of 10cm, tests should be carried out to make sure the vessel is not over heating during use. If you feel the vessel is getting hot to touch extinguish the flame immediately
• Ensure 0.5cm of the wick is sticking out of the wax sand, just enough to light it, if not the
wick will burn down too quickly. To prevent the melt pool from reaching the edge of the container make sure there is a minimum of 4cm of wax sand around the wick
• If using a larger container you can use multiple wicks
• If using a shorter container, you can cut the wicks to the desired height
• We recommend that you keep at least 2-3cm of sand under the wick, allowing the wick to self-extinguish before it reaches the container
• After the flame has been extinguished, leave to cool completely, the solidified wax pool and wick can be easily removed
• Simply gently shake the remaining wax sand and add a new wick or transfer the wax sand into a new vessel and start the process again
• The scented sand is designed to liquify in use. Place on a suitable level, heat resistant surface away from draughts, things that can catch fire and external heat sources such as a fire or radiator
• Keep away from children and animals
• Do not ingest
• For best results burn for 3-4 hours at a time. Never leave a burning candle unattended
